07-01-10-N2ACF-KB1CDI-KJ1Q-10m-FM-Slice-2.wmv Tube. Duration : 10.02 Mins.

KA4UDX working stations in Connecticut and New York areas on 10 Meters FM. 10 Meters in case you don't know it is an HF band above CB Radio (11 Meters) in 28 and 29 Mhz (CB is in 26 and 27 Mhz) so it is subject to DX or "Skip" propogation like other High Frequency bands. The interesting thing on these is that these are FM, not AM or SSB, stations. They are repeaters similar to VHF (2 meters) and UHF (70 centimeters) Amateur Radio Repeaters. In fact these systems are link to VHF 2 meter and/or UHF 70 centimeter repeater systems locally. So we get to talk to the locals in these areas from Florida. Notice on this video that the gentleman Adam N2ACF was nice enough to turn off his 10 meter transmitter to allow me to talk to the guys on the KJ1Q/KB1CDI system in Connecticut.
